Indian Summer? 10 to 12 Degrees Above Our Average? Where Is The Cold??

Some warmer days are ahead. As we head into Thursday and this weekend we will see a ridge develop and move into the area giving way to much warmer air over the next few days. I'm talking about 60s back by Saturday, maybe as soon as Friday.
Above is a chart out of the national weather service showing the warmer air moving into the area. You can see we're expecting highs t range anywhere from 50 - 55* degrees on Thursday, 57 - 62* degrees on Friday, and 62 - 67* degrees as we reach Saturday and then into Sunday. Yes a brief warm up in November. Could this be our indian summer already?

I'm not seeing it get back into the 40s and 50s as our high again until after Monday. Our average high temperature for this time of year is supposed to be around 50* degrees. We will be a good 10 to 12 degrees above that this weekend.

As we head into tonight and tomorrow early morning we will see the chances for fog to increase across the area. I'm calling for dew points to be around 30* degrees with an air temperature around 31* degrees. So fog is looking likely.
TONIGHT- expect partly cloudy skies across the area with a low around 31*  degrees. Winds light and calm tonight between 3 and 5 mph. Chance of fog across the area so be careful if out.

THURSDAY- we will see partly cloudy skies through out the day. A high around 54* degrees. winds again will be nice and calm across the area between 3 and 5 mph. We're watching a ridge develop over the area which will be the start of a brief warm up. As we head into Thursday night we will look for a low around 35* degrees.

FRIDAY- we will see partly cloudy to mostly sunny skies across the area with a high around 59 - 60* degrees. A low Friday night around 44* degrees. Winds between 10 and 15 mph with a few gusts between 20 and 25 mph possible.

EXTENDED OUTLOOK- Highs will be a good 10 to 12* degrees above our average for this time of year as we head into the weekend. Sunday into Monday we will watch a line of showers / thundershowers possible develop along a cold front. This will also help bring temperatures down back around normal. 40s and 50s try to return as our high after Monday.
