The Calendar Say's November, But Nature Say's Otherwise!!

Well, bloggers today felt like anything but November! Highs in the upper 60s to low 70s across the WLFI viewing area! NUTS!! lol. Lafayette, pushed record highs this afternoon. In November!! Sorry but I just cannot believe this weather we have been seeing lately. It seems every year it gets warmer and warmer in the supposed to be cool months. Global warming?? That's for you to decide! ;)

So just how close to the record highs did we get today? well, take a look at this below.
You can see the record high was 76* degrees! I recorded a high in Lafayette, today of 70.5* degrees. That's five and a half degrees short of the record. But pretty dang close! We have an average high for this time of year of 50* degrees. As you can see we are not even close to that number. We are running a good 20* degrees above our average high! WOW! again I just cannot believe it. While I was working today I was wearing a tank top! In November!! I don't remember being able to do that before?!?! lol.

And we have more of this warm weather to come! Yes, I expect these upper 60s to even the low 70s again now through Friday before seeing the 50s return by this weekend. And even when the 50s return we will still be running a good two to three degrees above our average. Go figure, That seems to be the story this season. Take a look at your two day forecast below.

Tuesday we will see more sunny skies across the WLFI viewing area. Highs in the upper 60s around 66* degrees with lows mild in the low 40s around 41* degrees. Wind will be light between 3 and 5 mph.

Wednesday will be much of the same with more sunny skies. Highs slightly warmer yet in the upper 60s to low 70 possible across the WLFi viewing area. Lows in the middle to upper 40s around 46* degrees. Winds light between 10 and 15 mph.

So where is our cooler or at least "average temperatures" hiding? Check this out below.
You can see there is snow on the maps however it's not any ware close to Indiana. No, it's back behind this weak and slow moving cold front well to our west. so when will this weak front make a move on us? Not until this weekend when it will also bring along our next chance of rain. Yes, slightly cooler temperatures and finally another precipitation chance. But not until this weekend!

Until then we have sunny skies and anything but November weather to talk about.

Take care bloggers. I'll check back soon.
