We have Lightning and Thunder here in Lafayette as I type! The good news is this system does not look at strong as it did earlier this evening. Still however it is a strong system and needs to be watched! I do think most of these cells will be pushing out by sometime closer to 11:00pm tonight.We also have a new severe thunderstorm warning put into effect for Fountain county, Warren county,. Until 9:15PM EDT.....
DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING QUARTER SIZE HAIL...AND DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH.
