Occasional Scattered Showers Today. What's In Store For Tomorrow?

Hey everyone it sounds like you all had a wonderful weekend!

Real quick I wanted to show you all what we are looking at today on the local radars! You can see above this is a radar image as of 1:00pm this afternoon. You can see we are just looking at some light scattered rain showers. Nothing big or severe so no worries! Just light scattered showers off and on today. Most areas will only pick up around a tenth inch of rainfall today. Currently I'M only picking up lightning down around Terre Haute, and south west areas which is good news for us here in the WLFI viewing area. Areas around those scattered thunderstorms could pick up rainfall between a tenth inch to a quarter inch possible. Otherwise we are looking at mostly cloudy skies with occasional peaks of sun possible.

We do have this warm front that is stalling over our area which will help to bring us some more light rain scattered showers within the next couple days. But how much rainfall could we see??? And or when is our best chance we could see it??? Well, I will have all this and more coming up here on the Indiana Weather Blog later on tonight! Also we will talk a little about your Indianapolis 500 race winner!!!!!

Be sure to check back tonight for the latest.......... I will see you then..........
