Indiana Look's At Sunny Skies While Florida Watches The Rain Fall!!!!!

Yes, this was the sunset last night here in Lafayette. You can see it was a nice calm milky sky. We all have been enjoying this nice dry warm weather this week but what's to come and or how does the weekend look????? I will let you all know but first lets take a look at this massage below!

...FLOOD WATCH NOW IN EFFECT THROUGH FRIDAY EVENING...

THE FLOOD WATCH IS NOW IN EFFECT FOR
* A PORTION OF NORTHEAST ((FLORIDA.))
* THROUGH FRIDAY EVENING
* ALTHOUGH THE FLOW OFF THE ATLANTIC WATERS IS BEGINNING TO
WEAKEN...THERE IS THE POTENTIAL FOR ADDITIONAL RAIN BANDS TO
BRIEFLY ADVANCE ACROSS THE WATCH AREA THROUGH FRIDAY. IN
ADDITION...THE ATMOSPHERE WILL BECOME INCREASINGLY UNSTABLE...
AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL LIKELY TO RETURN TO THE AREA TONIGHT OR
FRIDAY. PRIOR HEAVY RAINFALL HAS SATURATED THE GROUND ACROSS THE
WATCH AREA...AND HAS PRODUCED SOME FLOODING. ADDITIONAL RAINFALL
OF 1 TO 2 INCHES WITH LOCALIZED HIGHER AMOUNTS ARE POSSIBLE
THROUGH FRIDAY EVENING.

Well, you may be wondering why I'M posting a flood watch for parts of the state of Florida right?? Well, this is a major system that they have been seeing this week with record rainfall and flooding in many areas as you can see above! ((God Bless Everyone Effected By The Storm))Well, I post this because we will see this system start to move up our way here before to long! This is another reason why we will be looking for some more wet weather to return to us by the start to the work week! Yes, it will soon be good by sun and hello rain again! But first we need to get through the weekend!! ;) So lets take a look!!

Today we will see more beautiful Partly cloudy skies with warm temperatures in the low to middle 80s around 84* degrees!

Now Saturday I'M thinking we will stay mostly dry with some mostly cloudy to partly cloudy skies with highs again around 84* degrees. Now there are still a few models showing the slight chance for a little light scattered rain shower later on that night into Sunday early early morning then we look rather nice for Sunday / Race Day!

Yes, I'M currently going to keep Race Day rather dry with mostly cloudy skies with the chance for a few peaks of sun possible! Still I will continue to watch this and I will as you already know keep you posted! ;)
We will however cool down a little bit by Race Day as we currently look to fall closer to the low to middle 70s! You can see Lafayette's average and record temperatures. We are above average but still below the record!! Not by much as you can see. Still our nightly lows have been falling to the upper 50s which is still a little cool! We have still yet to open up the swimming pool this year which usually we already have it up and running by now! We are right around average lows for this time of year which is good to see! Maybe we can open it later on sometime next week?!?! :o/ So we all should continue to get out and enjoy these warm 80s while they are here before we cool off again by Race Day!

Look here for the latest on your Race Day forecast coming again real soon.......... I will check back! :) Thanks for reading!!!!!

Cool, I just hope the nasty stuff stays away from us. Nothing looking severe at this time?
